The Certified Innovation Professional programme is for individuals who are seeking up-to-date innovation knowledge and standards while mastering the tools and methodologies they will use in their organisation's innovation initiatives. The certifications programme has two levels:
- Level 1 Associate: Learn the fundamentals of innovation, the tools you will need to successfully develop quality innovation ideas, and the skills you will need to achieve meaningful innovation results.

The initial step in the GIMI Organisation Maturity Certification (OMC) process is an organisational audit, which can be conducted by either the organisation's internal auditor or by third-party auditors (GIMI-certified auditors). Upon completion of this evaluation, your organisation is granted OMC certification for its current innovation maturity level and is provided with implementation strategies to achieve additional outcomes.

Level 1 OMC Certification

- Clearly documented CEO innovation intent (case for change, business growth gap, willingness to invest in projects).

2 . Capacity
